Panch Pokhari Trekking ! Panch Pokhari Treks

Panch Pokhari Trek

Panch Pokhari is named after five holy small lakes, it is a sacred destination for Hindus. The region is still pristine lying northeast of Kathmandu, it provides some beautiful Himalayan views and distinct cultures. Chautara, a Newari town situated on the road to Tibet is the start of the trek where we camp overnight. The trek duration is 12 days and takes through the dense Rhododendron forest and green meadows.

At the top of Panch Pokhari (5 lakes) there are excellent views of the Jugal Himal range, Rolwaling range and Gosainkunda. The last night is spent at Melamchi before taking the bus back to Kathmandu the following day.
