Shivapuri, popular for the watershed and wildlife area, is the second highest hill surrounding the Kathmandu valley rim. This trek is to commence at Budhanilkantha with the purpose to be amazed with pleasant views of the central and eastern mountain ranges, heavenly views of sunrise and sunset and is a good introduction to Nepalese rural life.

Shivapuri Chisapani Nagarkot Trekking offers panoramic views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Jugal. This trek is a very popular short trek for those people who don’t have much time in Nepal. This trek offers fine scenery from pine forests to lush tropical jungle and rhododendron forests. It passes by Nagarkot which is known as one of the best places in the valley to get inspiring sunset and sunrise mountain views. It also gives the trekker a chance to experience the local culture.
