Situated in the Annapurna range of the Central Nepal Himalaya Tilicho Tal (lake) at 4,919m is one of the highest of its size in the world. It stretches for 4km and is about 1km wide and lies at the foot of Tilicho peak 7,134 mtrs. 
This Trans-Himalayan adventure Trekking begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar. The trek is taxing at times and you need to be in good physical shape. We soon leave the lodges on the main trail to head up toward Tilicho Tal. These high reaches of the Nepal Himal are the habitat of the Himalayan tahr (mountain goat) and the elusive snow leopard, among other mammals. We have designed two routes both challenging and present some fine high altitude trekking.
This itinerary allows us to visit the temple at Muktinath, a holy pilgrimage site sacred to both Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims alike. The trip ends in Jomsom with an early morning flight to Pokhara.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m) & Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and preparation for trekking.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Besisahar (830m) 6-7 hrs
Day 04: Trek Besisahar to Bahundanda (1310 m) 5 hrs
Day 05: Trek Bahundanda to Chamje (1400m) 5 hrs
Day 06: Trek Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m) 5-6 hrs
Day 07: Trek Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m) 5-6 hrs
Day 08: Trek Chame to Pisang (3300m) 5-6 hrs
Day 09: Trek Pisang to Manang (3540m) 5-6 hrs
Day 10: Acclimatization day at Manang village (3540m)
Day 11: Trek Manang to Khangsar Village (3700 meters) 4-5 hrs
Day 12: Trek Khangsar to Tilicho Base Camp (4200m) 5-6 hrs
Day 13: Trek Tilicho Base Camp to Tilicho Lake (5200m) and back down to Tilicho BC (4200m) 6 hrs
Day 14: Trek Tilicho BC to Yak Kharka (4000m) 5-6 hrs
Day 15: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m) 5-6 hrs
Day 16: Trek Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) via Thorung La passes (5416m) 8-9 hrs
Day 17: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2500m) 5-6 hrs
Day 18: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (8 20m) 20 min. Explore around Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 19: Drive (6-7 hrs) or fly (30 Minute) back to Kathmandu. Evening Farewell dinner with Nepali cultural dance.
Day 20: After Breakfast transfer to Airport for your next destination.
