The trek commences at Betrawati two hours by road north of Kathmandu. It is not a difficult sixteen days and it is likely to appeal to less ardent trekkers and families with younger children. The journey takes through some ancient settlements where a variety of ethnic groups and cultures live. This particular trek also provides the opportunity to experience Nepali farming life at close hand. There are also some great views of the Nepal Himal here, Ganesh Himal in particular stands out prominently.
