Tibet Gyama Trekking

Gyama valley trek is a widespread agriculture tributary of Kyi Chu River, situated in the east of Lhasa. Small villages, barley fields, settlements, and temples make this trek more beautiful. It is one of the finest treks of central Tibet. You will start the journey from hiking towards Gyama, followed by Samye monastery. After this you’ll start trekking towards Yarlung Tsangpo River and drive to Tsetang. After reaching Lhasa, you’ll move further towards Namtso Lake and camp there. It will be an unforgettable journey.

 

Gyama TrekkingDay 01 : Fly To Gongar.Transfer to Lhasa,Check in to Hotel.

Day 02 : AM: Guided tour of Potala,the Winter Palace of Dalai Lama. PM: Guided tour of Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Market.

Day 03 : AM: Guided tour of Drepung, biggest Monastic University of Tibet. PM: Guided tour of Norbulingka, the Summer Palace & Sera Gompa.

Day 04 : Drive to Gyama, enroute visit Ganden Monastery Overnight Camp.

Day 05 : Arrange the Yaks and trek to Thocha Overnight Camp.

Day 06 : Trek over the Tsepla Pass. Overnight Camp.

Day 07 : Trek to Yarmalung, the (Retreat Centre) Overnight Camp.

Day 08 : Trek to Samye and Visit the Monastery Overnight at Guest House.

Day 09 : Drive to Tsedang via Mindroling Monastery Overnight at Tsedang.

Day 10 : Explore the Yarlung Valley,Yumbulagang, the first Castle built for the Tibetan King and Trandruk Temple.

Day 11 : After Breakfast transfer to Airport to connect flight to Chengdu/Kathmandu
