Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the terminal gate of the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, representatives of ‘Adventure Himalayan Travels’ will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Meet your guide and crew mates over a complimentary dinner in the hotel in the evening for a brief trip session!

Accommodation: 3-star Hotel

On this day, you will visit several UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the valley of Kathmandu. They are all of cultural, religious, and historical significance, centered in the capital city of Nepal.

The Pashupatinath Temple is considered to be the most sacred among others. The Swyambhunath and Boudhnath are major Buddhist pilgrimages and ancient religious monuments.

At last, you will take a nice walk in the tricky alleyways of the trilogy of the historic Durbar Squares: Patan, Basantapur (Kathmandu), and Bhaktapur.

On the third day, you will drive forward to Salagkhu Khola from Kathmandu after an early morning breakfast. You will have lunch on the way to Trisuli and take a short walk of 3 hours, enjoying nature, to reach the Trisuli Bazaar to stay for the night.

Today, you will begin your first trek to arrive at Deurali Bhanjyang (a village inhabited by multiple ethnic groups, 1,700 m) after departing from Trisuli Bazaar, crossing a suspension bridge over the Samari Khola.The hike this day is around terraced rice farms, passing through numerous tiny settlements on the way along.

On the 5th day, you will head to Bhaisi Kharaka from Deurali to stay overnight. En route, you will get to witness a beautiful Salme Village in a short walk that eventually leads you to the destination of the day.

After having breakfast in Bhaisi Kharka, you will march forward through the bamboo, rhododendron, and pine forests to ascend to Kharani Odar at an elevation of 2,800 m to call it a day.Throughout the course, you will get to encounter several wildlife and species of birds to keep you company.

It is a special day as you ascend to Singla Pass at an altitude of 4,600 m, the highest viewpoint of the Ganesh Himal Singla Pass from Kharani Odar.To access this mountain pass, you will wake up quite early in the morning, have breakfast, and follow dense forests. By doing so, you will gradually be in a high alpine environment with a snow-capped mountain in each direction, as you are now very close to Ganesh Himal.

What a superb morning to wake up with glorious mountain views of Ganesh and Langtang Himal!This morning, you will rise to the majestic views of the mountains and start to trek to Pongsang (3,800 m) from Singla Pass.The trek begins with a descent from Singla after breakfast and makes it to Pongsang.

Though you will be descending the next day, it is your acclimatization day by exploring surroundings to adapt to the higher altitude, which helps the tired body relax.You will begin the observation and exploration right after lunch and take a rest at the camp at Pongsang Pass at the end of the day.

Now, you will set your steps to get to Somdang Phedi (3,300 m) with a downhill walk. When you pass through the valley on the trail, you will get a supreme view of the Mailung Khola, and after all, you will be at Somdang Phedi amidst rolling hills and mountain peaks.

Today, you will head towards the pathway of Somdang that leads to Yuri Kharka. Continuing the trek, you will move through the thick forest and small villages to make it to Gotlang after a few hours and stay overnight.

On the present day, you will hike through Tamang villages between Gotlang and Syabrubesi (1,400 m) and stay overnight at a local guest house in Syabrubesi.

On the 13th day of your trek, you will return to Kathmandu by bus from Syabrubesi while relishing the scenic drive and being transferred to the hotel.At the hotel, you will get plenty of time to rest, freshen up, and stay for the night!
