Fluted Peak is the highest amongst the "Trekking Peaks" of Nepal. Wilfred Noyce, the first man to summit this shapely mountain with David Cox, compared its beauty with India's highest and probably the most beautiful peak, Nanda Devi.

Wilfred Noyce, the first man to summit this shapely mountain with David Cox, compared its beauty with India's highest and probably the most beautiful peak, Nanda Devi. This peak is situated in the Annapurna Sanctuary adjoined to Tharpu Chuli and across Hiunchuli peaks. We arrive at the base camp of Singu Chuli in a spectacular six days walk up the Modi Khola gorge to the Annapurna Sanctuary. Base camp at around 4350m and then establish two higher camps, one at 4,900m/16,000ft at the approach of North East Face and a higher one at 5,500m. On the North East Face of the mountain before the summit is gained. A vertical wall near the summit poses some technical challenges on this climb. This climb is suggested to only those with some alpine and ice climbing experience.
Our first day of the trip starts with drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu that 200km drive and takes 7-8 hours by bus. There are daily flight to Pokhara (USD 125/ flight) if you would like to. Overnight stay in Splendid View Hotel or Similar.
Morning drive to Naya Pul which takes about 1 hour by car and we start our trek from Nayapul to Tikhedunga via Birethanti which takes about 3 hours through the forests path with viewing the small waterfall during the trail. We will have lunch. Stay overnight in Lodge.
The trails ascents bring us to reach Ulleri village after 2 hours steep up walk and continue the trails gently up until Banthanti which takes about 1 hour and will have lunch there. Now we can see the good view of Machhapuchre, Hiun Chuli and Annapurna South. After lunch, then our trail goes gradually ascend until Ghorepani, a village of Magar peoples which takes about 2 hours to reach. The mountains are visible from our accommodation. Early in the morning, 45 minutes hike to Poon Hill through the Rhododendrons forests for the spectacular view of Mountains like as Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, TukuchePeak 6920m, Nilgiri 6940m, Varaha Shikhar 7847m, Mt. Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Annapurna III 7855m, Machhapuchhre 6993m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna II 7937m, Lamjung Himal 6931m and unobstructed view of sunrise over the mountains. Then we return back to hotel and after having breakfast we continue our trek to Tadapani. Stay overnight in Lodge.
The trail goes down through forests till Siprong this takes about 2 hours. We cross by suspension bridge and the trail ascends gently until Gurjung, after an hour we reach to Chhumrung, a gurung village. The mountains are picturesque and closer. Stay overnight in Lodge.
We continue our trek from the village and climb down many steps until River and cross by suspension bridge then gently ascent brings us in Sinuwa village which takes 2 hours. Then the trail goes through the forests until Bamboo and will have lunch there. After lunch, again we continue our trek through the forest path and many small streams. Finally we will reach in Dovan after 11/2 hour walk from Bamboo. Stay overnight in Lodge.
This day also we follow the gently ascending deep forests way until Deurali which takes about 3 hours and we will have lunch there. Then our trail goes through the Avalanche area so that we should be careful during that period until Machhapuchre Base camp which takes about 2 hours. We can enjoy with magnificent and very closer view of mountains. Stay overnight in Lodge.
We climb up gently until reaching Annapurna Base Camp which takes about 2 hour. Then we can enjoy around 1 hour to see the mountains and glacier as well as snow. We can see mountains such as Annapurna I 8091m, Bahra Shikhar 7647m, Annapurna South Face 7219m, Hiun Chuli 6441m, Machhapuchre 6997m, Tharpu Peak 5663m, Singu Chuli 6501m and so on. Then back to MBC and stay overnight in Lodge.
